The Dubliner in Heidelberg

Service is very friendly, small but nice beer garden in the back area. 1 star deduction because the food was not really convincing, I have already tried a few dishes there and they were all tasteless. My tip: only offer half as much variation, but better quality.

Irish pup as it has to be, well-arranged pup with a really excellent selection of food, if everything tastes as good as what we had, you can only recommend this.

Very cozy but also well-attended pub. Service is very quick and friendly. The shepards pie was delicious. The hotel rooms are a bit older but clean and very quiet despite the central location. Highly recommended in all :)

It's an Irish pub, but you can also get a regular pilsner or a Rioja. The Irish stew is also really good. A few people can sit at the counter even in Corona times. Many international guests. It's good if you don't want to let your English rust. I don't give the fifth star because I'm not interested in football and there are big screens on the walls showing you exactly that.

Good Guinness, wide range of B&I sports ..what's not to like?

Can't say anything about the hotel as I was refused a room reservation. Booked through Booking.com, then got a rejection by email, but with a completely different date. When I called there, the receptionist could only grumpily say that I should call "the boss" on the cell phone. He was initially unavailable, but then called back anyway. In response to this discrepancy in the data given, he told me that it didn't matter and that I should definitely cancel. Of course I did. So all in all a very bizarre story. I have never seen or heard that you shouldn't come to a hotel ?!

Great ambience, great selection of drinks and food, great value for money, friendly staff. The next time Irish music is still playing, everything will be perfect. :) We recommend.

The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Shower cubicle should be renewed. Location very central but of course very loud, for us country eggs it was a challenge.

Very basic. Service was good. Thought the food would have been better it wasn't your chef type cooked meal.

Lovely little place in Heidelberg. It has two outdoor areas, one on the main street and one at the back. Food was good and the service excellent!

Really cool pub, with good, chilly rock muaic. Only a bit expensive, like 4.80€ for a beer.

We have waited 30min outside the Pub to enter, after what one blonde waiter told us that children are not welcome. Tipical German discrimination.

I was a hotel guest, the location was really perfect, in the middle of the main street. The room was nice, clean and quiet. 69 steps to the 3rd floor a great workout. Completely ok in terms of price. WiFi works. In my opinion, only the very clear, simple breakfast was (is) completely overpriced. I won't do that to myself again. The drinks were delicious, the service quickly nice and courteous. Always my pleasure .

The service was good and very fast, but the food was 😬. The fish and chips were both a bit soggy instead of nice and crispy. I would recommend this place for drink but not for their food.

Very nice location, helpful and friendly staff and somehow just the right flair without being forced. The beer garden is a small courtyard at the back, surrounded by houses. Perfect if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a delicious Guinness.

Superb suite with breathtaking views of the main street. Very clean room with a large bed and good bedding. Bathroom a little small and cramped. Room include bathroom, small fridge, large bedroom and small living room with small balcony. No elevator and no reception, this is done at the pub counter.

The entrance to the hotel is very nice. The room, I had taken the suite, was very spacious and in good condition. The bed was huge and comfortable. Great location! I highly recommend this hotel. In addition, very nice view of the city and the castle with a small balcony.

Eaten very tasty, drinks really cold and with ice. Service really very friendly and courteous. Reason for the visit: CL Bayern watched. Definitely to be recommended ..

Very nice service, delicious food and a large selection of drinks. Plus good music and lots of live sports on many TVs. We recommend. Anyone who is not satisfied here cannot be helped. ;-)

Every time in Heidelberg we spent at least one evening in these Irish pub. The food and drinks are excellent and the prices are absolutely fair! Last time we went to the karaoke night which was hilarious funny. I can recommend the pub to everyone! 🔥

Always a great time at Dubliners. Friday is my favorite because it is Karaoke night. Mondays are cool too with the live Irish music.

Good food, moderate prices, friendly staff

Omg it was great, even if we almost got into fight with 2 Irish turists, that situation gave some spirit to the night. Crowded, positive, music was fine, beers really good. Recommend it!

Great atmosphere, felt cozy. The potato fries I tried were great, and I also ordered a beer and an Appletini, which were fine too, but we got them on the table like a good 20 minutes after we ordered. Nonetheless, the staff was friendly and I liked how the whole place felt like.

Food was great. Atmosphere is a bit crazy on a Sunday afternoon with NFL and soccer and n the TV's. Service was expectantly a bit slower for standing room only. Overall that is four instead of 5 stars.

Best Irish bar in Heidelberg with plenty of atmosphere. Not like other Irish bars with no atmosphere and more like a restaurant. We've always had a good welcome and they welcome our dog too.
